New from the Gletcher Brewery

Today is Friday, and traditionally office workers of many companies go to drink beer. I drank, or rather tasted the foamy drink yesterday, in the beer restaurant "Jan Primus". In the tasting set there were just six new products from the Russian brewery Gletcher, which since 2012 has been spoiling its fans with interesting beers. We tried not only new items, but also already known varieties in an updated form.

1. For more than an hour, Vyacheslav Kuzmenko talked about a brewery located in the town of Klin near Moscow. What kind of fan you need to be in order to keep the guests' attention all this time. I was there last summer and showed the brewery from the inside. Who is interested, can see more here: http://e-strannik.livejournal.com/241613.html

2. The brewery operates mainly in the craft segment, but yesterday it introduced a new pils, which is again gaining popularity due to its drinkability. Apres-ski Pils turned out to be the perfect Czech pils. As saidPavel Egorov: "The taste is pure, but also full and harmonious. Pronounced malt, but also hops are noticeable - in the meadow grass, there is still a little honey and a little sulfur content."

3"Do you respect me?" (c) The joke, of course, is a photograph, one might say, staged.

4. The next beer in the set was an updated "Bowler IPA" - unfiltered version. Became more aromatics, dominated by citruses, mild mild bitterness.

5. Next is even tastier. "Kwartel Blond" is a typical Belgian blond. I think that with a blind tasting few people can distinguish it from, say, Leffe Blond. Well done, great Blond!

6. "Russian Imperial Stout" - two glasses were served In one beer brewed at the end of 2015, in the second - at the end of 2016. It was interesting to try, as affected by the product year. Beer has become dry, there are tones of wood. It is a pity that you can no longer compare them, alas, the shelf life has long been over.

7. Another beer in the Belgian tradition. "Rouge De Fleur" with a powerful cherry flavor. And you know, to get a rich cherry color, used dye from the berries of black elderberry?

9. And finally, "Kwartel Brune". Pretty dry beer, more drawn on the German dark side, although the Belgian tones are felt.

10. Well, outside the program of new imports. Three new items from the German craft brewery Maisel & Friends. I will not say anything about the taste, everything is already mixed after a large amount of beer drunk from Gletcher :(.

Many thanks to Albert No for the invitation, to the Gletcher brewery for a tasty beer, to the restaurant "Jan Primus" for a great snack, and to everyone present for a great company.
